Who We Are

The Warren A. Gingrich Agency was established on November 18, 1954.  

Warren A. Gingrich was Founder and President of the agency. Warren graduated from Gettysburg College in 1949.  He worked as a field representative for Aetna Company in Pittsburgh for five years. With the connection of a large trucking company, he was able to establish his own agency in downtown Altoona. In 1956, he acquired his first agency. Over the next fifteen years, he acquired ten more agencies as his staff grew from two to ten people.

In 1970, the agency purchased its own building at 9 Logan Boulevard where it is currently located. In 1988, an addition was made to the agency that included the installation of a drive-up window to more comfortably serve its customers. This expansion extended Warren’s staff to fifteen people and later the acquisition of five more agencies.

Today, the agency is led by Clay Gingrich as President.
